The Arabic Hospitality Group is seeking a qualified executive chef to head company foodservice operations in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The position offers the opportunity to work with Fillfilah Restaurants, one of the region’s predominant quick-service venues, and Fillfilah Catering, one of the Eastern Province’s most respected events catering and managed foodservice providers. The perfect role for an individual excited by and well-versed in vibrant Arabic dishes and authentic Arabic hospitality, AHG’s new executive chef will create new menu items, oversee daily food preparation and manage the company’s extensive culinary team.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience heading kitchen operations for a major foodservice company, with knowledge of both restaurant and catering systems of operation. The ability to develop new menu items that both meet food-cost requirements and encourage business growth is essential.

Job Requirements:

* A minimum of a bachelor degree in the culinary arts.
* Five to 10 years of valid culinary experience, with three to five years as the executive/sous chef for a major quick-service restaurant.
* Experience preparing both Arabic and Western cuisines.
* Immaculate organizational and analytical skills used to maintain supply levels, manage the kitchen team, create reports and maintain food costs.
* Experience managing kitchen teams of 20 or more staff members.
* Prior catering work experience and an intimate familiarity with the nuances of catering foodservice requirements.
* The ability to read and write in both Arabic and English.
