Job Description:

Our client, a prestigious global bank is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager of Corporate Banking to join their growing team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the identification of new business opportunities from existing relationships and also early intimation of credit risk/market information.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities in the area of trade by perusing trade information.

• Prepare the loan documentation and provide support to the credit analyst in completion of the credit reviews.

• Develop the assets portfolio through adequate marketing efforts and within the credit parameters as set up by the bank.

• Monitor credit risks in the portfolio through regular customer contacts, market feedback, covenant compliance and security documentation.

• Enhance overall revenues from different business line of the bank (Forex, cash management, Private Banking) and improve the profile of the bank.

Qualification Requirements:

• University graduate.

• Thorough knowledge of the Bahraini mid-to-large cap corporate segment, with the candidate having spent a minimum of two years in a similar position in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

• A minimum of four to five years in a similar position within a top tier international bank within the GCC.

• Proven track-record in marketing and closing deals in various business areas (credit, fixed income, cash management, cross-selling referrals...etc) as well as a sound knowledge of the products and services intended for Corporate Customers.
