Job Description
• Capable of leading a team of multi-discipline engineers & designers and take independent decisions.
• Responsible for the successful completion of FEED/Conceptual and Detail Engineering of small & medium size projects related to Oil & Gas Industry.
• Capable of preparing technical write-ups such as Contracts, Scope of Work, Design Basis Memorandum, Tender documents, etc. in full compliance with client requirements.
• Review designs against project requirements, standards, specifications, design criteria, and basic engineering principles.
• Attend technical / progress meetings and take mitigation measures
• Set project procedures / goals and make sure the team meets such requirements or deadlines.
• Negotiate and manage sub-contracts
• Preparation of tenders, man-hour estimates, project schedules/bar charts, S-Curve, man-hour loading charts, etc.
• Recruitment of engineers/Designers
• Ensure that projects are completed on-time, within the allocated man-hours.
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile • 15-20 years design experience in the Oil & Gas field, out of which 5 years as a Project Manager / Engineering Manager.
• Competent in Hazardous Area engineering
• Experienced in preparing man-hour estimates and tender documents
• Clear understanding of progress reporting requirements
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
• Sound judgment in setting individual and team priorities
• Highly developed analytical & negotiation skills
• Demonstrate effective project management skills
• Awareness about QA/QC & HSE requirements
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument Engineering from a recognized university.
