REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering�
and 4 years of industrial experience.
OR
> High school + NVQ National Vocational qualification in Electrical�
Engineering with 6 years of industrial experience.
> Possessing previous experience with High Voltage switchgear will be an advantage.
> Need an understanding of basic to complex Electrical schematics.�
> Capable for commissioning and testing of Transformers and Switchgear.
> Should be a self starter personality.
> Should be willingn to work in shifts�
> Able for finding out faults.
> Available for call outs when required.�
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Ensure and Maintain departments and workplace 5S Standard.�
> Analyze risks before work execution.�
> Perform work to Sohar Aluminiums standard work procedures and practices,�
> Obey plant and department rules.�
> Participate in the day to day health and safety activities of the whole team.�
> Carry out the preventive and predictive maintenance program.�
> Define the protected areas and work areas and issue authorization or work permits.�
> Operate and Maintain Low, Medium and High Voltage Equipment up to 220kV.�
> Execute work in the Low, Medium and High Voltage Maintenance field to insure that Sohar Aluminiums Plant is being operated in a safe, efficient manner and ensure quality of work.�
> Become competent to operate Plant from Local and L2 Systems.�
> Carry out isolation and lockouts according to Standards when certified to do so.
