Our client, a prestigious Middle East based insurance company is looking for an Assistant Manager of Investment to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate has to provide analytical support relating to investment opportunities and trading activities in accordance with established investment policies and guidelines.

�Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor investment portfolio and make sure that the asset allocation is in line with the company investment policies.

• Provides periodic valuations and analysis reports of investment portfolios, including performance comparison with applicable benchmarks.

• Maintain and update investment records and data as well as negotiate and deal with banks and Fund Managers on investment portfolios.

• Sell and buy from stock market as well as recommend buy/sell trade decisions for investment activities within the approved limits as directed by the CEO.

• Analyze data in respect of available investment opportunities, recommend appropriate new opportunities to the CEO and follow up on Executive Committee decisions.

• Coordinates with accounts department in regard to investment transactions and deals and assist in any other capacities as and when required.

�Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, preferably enrolled in CFA program me.

• Highly skilled in computers (Excel/PowerPointNVord) with macro skills and working knowledge of Bloomberg and other market information systems.
• Strong writing and communication skills in English, though knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.

• At least two years of managerial experience in investment in the insurance industry in the GCC.
