Job description
Develop a functional design of proposed project through collection of information and data required to study the proposed project to satisfy actual needs of the end user. Carry out project feasible studies to advise the Works manager. Prepare and develop a conceptual design of the proposed project to meet the requirements of the end user including cost estimates. Prepare the tender documents that include scope of work, drawings, technical specifications and bill of quantities for contactors to understand the project better.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Civil ).
should also have had experience as a construction field supervisor, quantity surveying and designer of small to moderate civil projects.
Requires leadership qualities, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills and sensitivity in advising.
Requires well developed planning and organization skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
A good working knowledge of both oral and written English.
