A well reputed insurance broker in Bahrain is seeking for suitable candidates for the post of General Manager. Applicants should be a University degree holder in Commerce / Business Administration. Having an MBA will be an advantage. Work experience of at least 15 years as a senior manager is required. Candidates should possess a deep knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices (IFRS). Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge about Gulf market and communication skills in Arabic. Key responsibilities to be performed by this post are :
> Lead and guide the marketing team to execute upon aforementioned strategy.
> Identify potential business deals by contacting partners and discovering new business opportunities.
> Develop and refine a marketing strategy to grow the company's brand awareness in the local market.
> Establish relationships with existing corporate and retail customers and schedule and attend meetings to understand the nature of clients' businesses or lives.
> Achive business development objectives by establishing plans, budgets and key performance indicators and suggest strategic revisions if necessary.
> Co-ordinate company's financial and budget activities to fund operations to determine areas requiring cost reduction and programme improvement.
