Job Description
• Voucher preparation and entry into the computerized accounting system
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Daily sales reconciliations with production and sales
• Monthly billing
• Monthly closing of accounts and generation of financial statements from the system
• Daily completion of voucher check list
• Debtors and creditors ageing from the computerized accounting system
• Implementation of Internal checks and controls to ensure accuracy and validity of transactions.
• Assist in preparation of budgets
• Filling of statistical returns to various government departments
• Revenue and expenditure analysis and reporting in Microsoft Excel.
• Organize and maintain efficient manual filing systems.
• Supervise the input and handling of financial data and generation of required reports from the company's computerized accounting system.
• Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile The ideal candidate should be a first class graduate in Commerce below 35 years, with excellent academic background having expert knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Should be able to compile and process assigned accounting transactions without supervision. Previous experience in Focus accounting software or any other reputed accounting software is a must. Work requires willingness to work extended hours. Expertise in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets is necessary. Fluency in spoken English. Education Qualification: B.Com (Hons) from reputed University, Inter C.A./ICWA/ACCA Compensation offered: Commensurate with qualification and experience
