A reputed Middle East based commercial bank urgentl y requires experienced and qualified candidates for the post of Head of Contracts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should be a university degree holder in Civil Engineering / Architecture.
> Work experience of minimum 10 to 12 years in large scale projects in the infrastructure services department of a bank in the GCC is required.
> Fluent communication skills in English and Arabic is essential.
> Should be familiar with MS-Office applications and Banking Systems used in this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Maintain the projects insurance requirements, ensuring that all related risks are covered.
> Monitor operations and liabilities at assigned projects with respect to contractual agreements with the�
contractors/suppliers, in accordance with management standards and regulatory requirements.
> Ensuring the maintenance of a contract file for each contractor.
> Meet with contractors to resolve issues such as payments, invoices and conflicts.
> Develop work progress and status reports for contractors and suppliers sorted by project site.
> Review the tender documents to be assigned to contractors.
