Junior/Senior Commissioning Engineer




Job Description

An engineering company in Qatar requires Commissioning Engineer for a large Transmission and Distribution development in Doha. Duties and responsibilities:  Management of Testing and Commissioning team (up to 6 Junior Engineers/Technicians).  Follow up of and update of Testing and Commissioning schedule.  Interface with other partners during Testing and Commissioning period.  Testing and commissioning of Low Voltage AC and DC panels.  Testing and commissioning of Batteries system.  Testing and commissioning of UPS system.  Testing and commissioning of Current transformer.  Testing and commissioning of Voltage transformer.  Testing and commissioning of HV Power Cable (up to 66kV).  Testing and commissioning of HV and/or MV switchgear (up to 66kV).  Control of Interface with HV equipment , Transformers and Switchgear.  Control of Interface with Digital Control System and Scada.  Control of Electrical circuit in accordance with Schematic Diagrams.  Control of Interlocking system in accordance with Schematic Diagrams.  Good experience with Electrical Transmission Substation system.  Good understanding of International standard for schematic diagrams.
