Job Description : Underwriting Manager of Casualty, UAE
Our client, a global Middle East based insurance company is seeking a highly qualified Underwriting Manager of Casualty to join their team in UAE. The ideal candidate will be directly reporting to the Commercial Lines Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance is strictly adhered to in order to mitigate risks.
• Underwrite casualty business within the terms of personal and territorial license.
• Deliver the technical results for operations in line with the overall business strategy.
• Manage operations of the underwriting function for casualty (excluding motor and medical).
• Lead the implementation of the Portfolio Review Process for casualty in line with practice guidelines.
Requirements:
• University degree in Insurance and Finance, ideally, professional Insurance qualifications such as AIII / FIII / ACII.
• Experienced casualty underwriter with at least 8 + years of managerial experience, in an insurance organization in the GCC.
