Job Description:
A Middle East bank is looking for an Information Security Manager to join their team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the systems and operations for security compliance as well as report on the status of security compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze the logs of the various systems for initiating preventive measures.
• Conduct review to assess that the access privileges are allotted on the basis of need.
• Implement all applicable ISO controls and ensure their effectiveness, through regular audits.
• Monitor security breaches and make recommendations to management for corrective actions.
• Should have experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation.
Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent, ideally with CISM; CISSP or CISA.
• Sound knowledge of BS 7799; ISO/IEC 27001 and excellent technical skills.
• At least Eight to ten years of relevant experience in a similar role in a bank in the ACC.
• Should have experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation.
