Job Description:

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To lead a team of Design Engineers to develop designs from job specifications in accordance with international engineering standards and codes of practice. JOB OBJECTIVES 1. To lead and manage a team of professional Design Engineers. 2. To develop designs from project specifications. 3. To allocate, prioritise and check work of a team of Design Engineers. 4. To check and evaluate design and material specifications for tender. 5. To prepare and check material data sheets and material take off reports.

Profile:

• A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering • Team Leadership • Conflict Resolution • Specific software Application • Communication • Specialised discipline software • Business Administration • Thorough understanding of Engineering standards • AutoCAD application design skills • Management of a business unit • Project Management • 10 to 15 Years of work Experience as a Design Engineer possibly in multi disciplines.

Education: Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Mechanical )
