Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 5 years of experience in high-rise building maintenance.Responsible for managing and directing the daily operation of the building maintenance department and supervising maintenance staff.Manages daily operation of department, including: coordinating staffing assignments; inspecting facility for safety, preventive maintenance and work quality and performs administrative tasks.Directs and supervises staff, including establishing work schedules, assigning tasks and responsibilities and writing performance evaluations. Coordinates and oversees maintenance and repair work of staff.Participates in planning, implementation and coordination of capital projects. Oversees construction and other capital projects, including contract workers.Assists in developing and managing building maintenance budget. Excellent communication skills are a requirement.
