Job Description:
ICT Support Engineer required to install, configure, and support the company’s
Operations Systems. Monitor network to ensure systems availability to all users
and perform necessary maintenance to support OS availability 24/7.
Job Responsibilities:
• Liaise with applications providers for complex troubleshooting and system upgrades.
• Direct and monitor the Field Support Staff and take charges of the ICT Help Desk.
• Perform server and security audits, system backups and recovery and user administration.
• Manage the OS servers that typically involves configuration of the client hardware devices and testing new software.
• Monitor the OS Server Event Log, Server Hardware and also the scheduled archival software daily.
Qualification Requirements:
• BSc. in Computer Sciences with certifications like MCSE/CISCO,
ideally with Professional Certification in Microsoft Products.
• Solid Experience in UNIX and maintaining any database as well as
good knowledge of new software and software tools will be preferred.
• Working experience with LAN and data communication systems (in a Windows client environment)
as well as providing remote Desktop support to servers, laptops and desktops.
