Description:
Manages all areas of manufacturing to ensure personnel, methods and materials are available to meet production targets, including volumes, costs, and quality.
Develops production budget to meet the company goals.
Supports the documentation of manufacturing processes and development of associated training programs.
Ensures process procedures are followed consistently.
Ensures safety and environmental requirements are maintained in compliance with regulatory agencies & company standards.
Ensures production efficiency and associated reports are generated on a timely basis to meet company reporting requirements.
Coordinates timely resolution of any inventory, process or equipment issues with appropriate personnel including materiel, facilities, engineering, quality, and management personnel.
Participates in related employment matters, including hiring, performance reviews, coaching, conflict resolutions, terminations, and employee relations.
Job Requirements:
A degree in engineering.
Experience with glass production or lighting product manufacturing.
Proven track record supervising a high-volume, manufacturing operation with high revenues.
Strong leadership ability with proven skills in communicating and supervising a diverse workforce (i.e. Plant Engineering, Maintenance Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Production Supervisor or similar).
Strong operational, production planning , sales & marketing & execution skills
