Job Outline:
The role reports to Senior Vice President —Cabin Crew Training (SVP-CCT) with accountability on SEP regulatory issues to the Senior Vice President -Flight Training (SVP-FT) as the nominated post holder.
Accountable for the design and delivery of high quality SEP training programmes that meet our regulatory and business requirements for a workforce of more than 11,000 cabin crew. Driving a learner centred approach to design and delivery.
Responsible for the total quality output of the SEP training area, including delivery by internal business partners for Security and Medical training as related to SEP training. Auditing and ensuring all SEP related training is of the highest quality and conforms to regulatory requirements.
Responsible for all SEP documentation issued and adherence to regulatory requirements ensuring records regarding legal compliances are maintained as required by GCAA and in partnership with Emirates Flight Operations.
Plan and implement continuous professional development of the SEP training team providing individual development plans and coaching performance to continually grow the professional skills of the team. Actively benchmarking within and outside the industry to motivate and inspire the team for continuous development and ensuring Emirates SEP training is best practice.
Qualifications:
12 years schooling or equivalent.
Degree and recognised relevant qualification in Training and Development required plus related qualifications and accreditations such as a Bachelor of Science (Aviation), IATA Diploma preferred.
Experience and background in Safety and/or Regulatory positions within the aviation or allied industries.
10 years experience within the Airline or allied industry with at least 5 years in a management role.
Experience in a high volume, dynamic and multi cultural training delivery environment.
