Job Description:
Our business a leading pharmaceutical distributor in the UAE is looking to hire a proven supply chain manager to take complete responsibility of the whole supply chain process from supplier to consumer.
Profile:
1. Formulates and develops supply chain strategies and policies to ensure continuity of supply across product range, cost-efficient and flow of materials while achieving profit objectives. 2. Coordinate and oversee the complete logistics cycle & process integrating the flow of (products, services, information, and finances) as they move in a process from supplier to consumer, both within and among standards. 3. Supervise, direct and monitor planning of inventory to meet demand plans, and maintaining quick response replenishment process in order to lower costs and improve efficiency and product availability in warehouses. 4. Lead logistics services that include supplies planning, distribution, order processing, inventory control, shipment delivery and information systems for the purpose of achieving smooth work flow, cost effectiveness, total compliance with company’s policies and procedures. 5. Responsible for in coordination with the Distribution sales Director of building and managing a distribution network that allows products to be delivered in a timely bases maintaining high level of services. 6. Cooperating with product management and the marketing team across the business to support the effective launch of new products to satisfy market needs on time.
