Job location: Saudi Arabia - Jeddah 

Designation:- Cost controller 

Purpose of the job

Develop and apply cost accounting methods for various types of cost accounting, analyze cost calculations, and draft reports on cost accounting for management information.

Key Accountabilities

1. Cost control

Develop and execute systems and controls for reviewing standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and validating the cost of goods soldas part of the month-end close, for correct data accumulation and cost reporting.

2. Inventory

Coordinate physical inventory countsand cycle countsand investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues.

3. Budget Process

Calculate and supply budget cost to support in the budgeting process.

4. Product Initiation Forms

Describe and calculate costs likely to be incurred for new products and its BOM’s and how this will impact product profitability levels, for decision making purposes.

5. Project support

Develop and apply calculation methods to calculate and monitor cost and provide cost data and analysis for various projects.

6. Cost Analysis

Analyze various costs, including product cost and margins, cost variancesand their causes and capital budgeting, to inform management.

Job Requirements

·         Educational level: University, bachelors

·         Specific diploma/education: CPA/ CMA

·         Minimal experience: 5 years in accounting

·         Languages: English

·         Other requirements: analytical and accurate
