Job Description:

Our client, a global insurance organization is looking for a Head of Policy Management and Underwriting to join their team in Bahrain. The successful candidate has to report to the COO any operational findings from new business and underwriting activities as well as manage the charging and billing of commissions and premiums.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate initiatives and projects with other leading functions beyond policy administration and underwriting.

• Perform systematic quality control, indicate and act on potential for improvement.

• Liaise with relevant institutions and authorities, maintain good relations and negotiate as required to achieve favorable agreements.

• Evaluate risks, manage, negotiate and make decisions on unusual business transactions.

• Ensure KPIs / benchmarks are met regarding execution of the different steps in the value chain for policy management.

Qualification Requirements:

• At least seven years of professional managerial experience in one or more lines of property, life and health insurance operations in the insurance industry in the GCC.

• University degree in Banking and Finance, ideally, Insurance qualification such as AIII/FIII/ACII.

• Entrepreneurial and results oriented personality with excellent experience in project management.
