A vacancy exists for a suitable qualified and experienced Senior Science Technician preferable with a specialism in Chemistry and / or Biology.  The successful candidate must be highly organized and be able to manage a team of technicians.  The main duties will be to ensure that the technical team is resourced, organized and developed to meet the performance standards required by the department to prepare materials for practical lessons (including Advanced Level / B) and to be responsible for a healthy and safer working environment.  The successful applicant should be available to take up post as soon as possible.
