Chief Investment Officer
A well respected commercial Islamic Investment Company is looking for a Chief Investment Officer to join their Treasury and Merchant Banking department in Bahrain.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor the performance of investment portfolio.
• Direct the operation of the investment management group.
• Implement systems and controls for all securities activities.
• Formulate the overall asset allocation plans for the company.
• Review and approve authorized securities dealers and counterparties.
• Develop analytical models to measure portfolio performance and risk tolerance.
Requirements:
• Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CPA/CFA/CFP or equivalent, ideally MBA in Finance.
• At least 10+ years in Investment Banking, with at least 3+ years as a Director of Investments in an Islamic Investment bank in the GCC.
• Knowledge of alternative asset classes including hedge funds, private equity, commodities, real estate, etc.
