Job Title : Sales Manager – (SUN Microsystems)
Qualification : MBA, BS (IT/CS) or relevant qualification
Experience : 05+ years in relevant field
Location : Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager will provide specific expertise in SUN product and solution areas to meet customer needs. The Sales Manager brings appropriate knowledge and skill sets to bear across a range of selling opportunities. This Sales Manager role typically operates in a one to many customer relationship model and provides a highly visible and customer facing presence at all stages in the Sales Cycle. The position leads regional strategic sales planning, designs and implements campaigns, and facilitates the selling process.
· Provide Sales Development and Marketing with disciplined sales strategy to plan demand creation events in- line with business requirements.
· Provide sales experience, subject matter expertise and high-level technical assistance in SUN Solutions in support of the identification, evaluation, development, and closing of strategic and tactical business opportunities
· Provide assistance with account development planning and forecast business for area of expertise.
· Able to build credibility with a customer's executive management team by articulating a crisp understanding of their business issues and the positive impact of Sun's solutions
Skills and Competencies:
· This individual is expected to have strong knowledge of Sun's discipline products, solutions and drive successful sales by appropriately linking a customer's business requirements to the products and solutions.
· Has demonstrated ability to develop strong account relationships and sell to all levels of an account.
· Has intimate knowledge, through experience, of the sales process for information technologies.
· Has demonstrated track record of achieving sales goal and has strong mix of strategic and tactical sales expertise.
· Is skilled at working virtual teams and influencing others to implement specific solution sales strategies.
· Able to communicate previous learning and experience to promote confidence in proposed Sun solution during customer negotiations and discussions.
· Creative thinker: by combining products and services able to identify new business opportunities, ability to assess, plan and execute in uncertain environments and emerging markets.
· Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
· Excellent customer-facing skills
· Strong team-working skills
