Qatar Foundation is an established organization, with a variety of Centres, programs and plans for expansion, our process began with designing/reworking the mission statement of the Foundation and the Centres and then looking at the broader issues of vision.
Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a private, chartered, non-profit organization headquartered in Doha, Qatar. The Foundation hosts branch campuses of Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, Weill Cornell Medical College, Texas A & M University, Carnegie Mellon University and Georgetown University. It is also home to Qatar Academy, the Learning Center, the Academic Bridge Program, the Rand-Qatar Policy Institute, Al-Shaqab Stud and Riding Academy, Fitch Qatar and Qatar Science and Technology Park. Qatar Foundation’s other projects include the Qatar Diabetes Association and the Social Development Center.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of the mission, vision and values of Qatar Foundation.
- Modifies drawings as directed by the projects team members.
- Support and Assists project teams on preparation of new drawings when needed.
- Work closely with Project Management team and service providers to assure timely activities, integration and efficient use of resources to meet requirements.
- Provide project teams (as appropriate) with reports on projects status and escalated issues as necessary on weekly and monthly basis.
- Interface with related Qatar Foundation departments as required.
- Tracking project activities and regular communications.
Requirements
Diploma in Engineering, Architecture disciplines
- Ability to visualize ideas in 3 dimensional form.
- Enjoy technical drawings and working with computers
- Able to be accurate and neat in drawing work
- Artistic talent in free hand drawing
- General computer literacy and particular knowledge in technical software.
- Detail oriented, able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to write and update records.
