SENIOR ACCOUNTANT FIXED ASSETS

This position will ensure Fixed Asset accounting activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance 
with company policies and Accounting Standards. This role will be a critical part of the accounting department, and will be performing general ledger work in addition to fixed assets. Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register in SAP including transactions relating to assets acquisitions resulting from completion of assets under construction (capitalization). Asset retirements Periodic and unplanned, depreciation postings according to month end close deadlines. Collation, input, review and analysis of fixed asset information and transactional data, in compliance with accounting standards. Creation and maintenance of Projects (Work Breakdown Structures) and Fixed Assets within the accounting system.

Support the continuous update and maintenance of project and fixed asset systems and interfaces, including procedure documentation Processing of month-end Depreciation and Project Settlements.

Qualifications & Experience:

University degree in a related field, CA,CPA or ACCA 
Preferred. 5 to 8 years experience of Assets Accounting in SAP, preferably in Large Manufacturing Company. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) , SAP experience essential. Strong interpersonal and Communication skills and must be fluent in English.
