Job Description : Chief Investment Officer, Saudi Arabia

Our client, a reputable and well established Middle East based family owned investment company is currently looking for a Chief Investment Officer to join its team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate has to report to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for the overall investment function of the company.
 

Responsibilities:

• Recommend appropriate investment strategies and customize solutions.
• Steer the organization through a successful transition to form a holding company.
• Manage the family investments, oversee and assist in management of existing operating companies.
• Monitor the performance of the portfolio in order to ensure robust risk management frameworks and control procedures are in place.
• Manage a sizeable portfolio from financial instruments to real estate projects with a focus in the Saudi market and to expand overseas in future.
 

Requirements:

• A first class degree from a reputable university, ideally with a professional certification such as CA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA.
• At least 15 years experience in a senior role in Saudi Arabia within the investment banking industry with exposure to family owned holding company. 
• A comprehensive knowledge in financial instruments and global financial markets, as well as an established network within the investment community.
