Job description
Maintaining & handling Cisco Layer 3 & 4 routers,Layer 2 & layer 3 Switches
Configuration of ADSL SDSL, HDSL & ATM on Cisco router 800 series,1700 series, 2600 series router.
Configuration of Leased line, ISDN, Frame Relay, VPN on Cisco 1700, 2600, 3600 & 3700 series router.
Configuration x.25, X.25 over ISDN B channel& X.25 over ISDN D channel.
Configuration of Voice-over-IP on Cisco 1700 & 2600 series routers.
Setting up VOIP on Multi-tech devices
Configuration of ACLs, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VTP, VLANs, Voice VLAN & Port-Based Traffic control on Cisco catalyst 2950.
Configuration of Network Security, SPAN & System Message over layer 2 catalyst switch.
Configuration of Cisco security firewall at PIX 506E for filtering IP address, Mac address, span filtering, content filtering & internet ports blocking.
Managing & Troubleshooting Multiple Domain Mail Servers
Managing & Troubleshooting Public DNS & DHCP Servers
Managing & Troubleshooting ISA Proxy server
Qualifications
CCNA / MCSE certification
Minimum 3 years working experience with all kind of Networking protocols / Types including TCP/IP, IPX, AppleTalk, Decnet, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, IPsec, VPN, Multicast, PIM, IGMP, CGMP, PNNI, ATM, Frame relay, Ethernet, DLSw, IEEE 802.11b (Wi-Fi), RSRB, STUN, LANE, HSRP, Token Ring, VLAN, NAT, Spanning Tree, ISL, CDP, HDLC, PPP, ISDN BRI/PRI, T1/E1, DS3, SONET OC-3/OC-12/OC-48, V.35, RS232
Should have worked in a network of 400+ computers with multiple public servers.
