* Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and a postgraduate course in material engineering.

* Eight to ten years experience in the related field in Oil/Petrochemical Industry with background on modern maintenance systems.

* Provide technical expertise with experience based knowledge and assistance to technical and operational divisions/departments on all related matters to materials and Spare Parts.

* Review engineering packages and advise recommendations on material and spare parts selection.

* Develop Bill of materials, assess criticality of spares and define optimum stock levels.

*Selects materials as per services and recommends alternatives.
