Job description:
To perform fitting on pipelines, vessels, valves and coolers associated with Static equipment in the Plant Complex. The Fitter reports to the Workshop Foreman in the respective Plant Division. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. To remove, maintain and install pipelines, flange joints and pipe supports, in accordance with GASCO PTW procedures. 2. To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures. 3. To carry out a wide variety of maintenance tasks on vessels, valves and coolers, to meet technical specifications, safety standards and regulations. 4. To perform Hydra-Pressure Tests on pipelines, coolers, valves and other equipment, as required by the Inspection section.
