Our client, a Multinational Petroleum Company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years post qualification experience in the Financial Services industry/ Investment Bank, Private Equity or an international Consulting practice. Strong knowledge of Global markets. Responsibilities would be: Responsible for analyzing corporate financial position and financial forecasts. Evaluate potential transactions, both Private and Listed- with an M&A perspective. Work in unstructured situations and in a diverse variety of industries. Scrutinize company Budgets with a view to find ways to increase company profitability. Conduct research on companies and industries. Have a thorough understanding of corporate finance, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, WACC, DCF, capital budgeting, profit and loss, time value of money, pro forma statements. Familiarity with the mechanics of mergers and acquisitions and private equity . A good understanding of capital markets is also likely to be required. Being able to communicate information on paper and in conversation to audiences with varying levels of understanding is also critical. Knowing how to effectively use financial softwares and research tools are essential.
