Role: TAE-Tech Analyst Environment, From May 2011 to Present

Team Size: 8 – Offshore Support.

TAE- Tech Analyst Environment will build, support, and maintain test environments for each work effort in the product group they are involvedCollaborate with project teams to understand requirements, effectively plan and support activities to meet the project’s environment needs. Plan, Build, Setup & Support environments for Deploying J2EE Applications in the Property & Casualty domain.  Participate in environment issue/defect resolution Troubleshoot/debug environment defects assist the development team with defect analysis.

·         Work with Triage, Product and Project teams to make sure the environment is built in accordance with project requirements and is ready for use.

·         Perform End-to-end environment build for use by projects to test/validate P&C Enterprise Application Web products, once environment build we have to do happy path testing environment has been setup properly as per work effort requirements.

·         Responsible for reservation of Test Center Assets like Windows servers, WebSphere Application Servers, IMS, ROFI’s and others for use by Projects and Work Efforts.

·         Analyze the problem identified within the defect and ensures that all of the necessary information (error description, screen captures, etc) has been recorded in the defect.

·         Make necessary configuration changes on the Websphere application server and Mainframe host to resolve the application issue.

·         Assist product teams with performing analysis to determine root cause on common or reoccurring defects.

·         Create Change Records / Tasks / Requests / Incidents within the Service Management framework for miscellaneous activities ancillary to the environment build ( e.g. Context Roots & VIP updates, Changes to  External Configuration files, Windows override issuances etc )
