Job Description : Commercial Lines Director, UAE
Our client, a global Middle East based insurance company is seeking a highly qualified Commercial Lines Director to join their management team in UAE. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Middle East Commercial Lines Director.
Responsibilities:
• Successfully underwrite and develop the Commercial Lines business.
• Lead and manage the performance of the UAE business in order to maximize operational efficiency.
• Develop, implement and facilitate knowledge transfer in respect of underwriting throughout the business.
• Deliver business results and define customer service proposition with a specific focus on Commercial Lines.
Requirements:
• At least 8 years experience of developing and underwriting all major Commercial Lines of which at least 5 years must be as a company level Lead Underwriter in an insurance organization in the GCC.
• University degree in Insurance and Finance, ideally, professional Insurance qualifications such as AIII / ACII.
