Job Description:

SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPERS - We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Java Developers to join Sky News Arabia, a new world-class 24-hour Arabic news service across digital and television platforms with its headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

The candidate will be able to actively participate in defining technical solutions and architecture for content management driven websites. You would be working in a fast-paced organization where development is done using agile practices and automation and TDD (Test Driven Development) is core to what we do.

Job Responsibilities:

• The development and delivery of production-ready code.

• Genuine pride in delivering clean code that exhibits clarity of purpose and vision.

• Being a driving force in setting the pace and commitment level of the team.

• Being highly and comprehensively experienced in the primary programming language in which you have been hired to develop.

Qualification Requirements:

• Fluency in Arabic

• Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML

• Strong Agile experience

• Excellent communicator and self-motivated.

• Minimum five years web applications experience.

• Expert knowledge of Spring Framework and MVC pattern

• Good understanding/knowledge of Tomcat and Apache

• Good understanding/knowledge Posture SQL or MYSQL

• Experience in automated testing, test-driven development and mocking techniques

• Up-to-date on new technical innovations and shows a passion for new technologies
