Capabilities & Resposibilities
Reports to Contracts Manager
Develops and monitors the project programme.
Integrates the project team / suppliers programmes
Develops / supports the preparation of project sequence / phasing.
Supports the development of the Logistics Plan.
Reviews construction methods and sequendng of works
Ensures that the Client's process and organizational Ideals are engendered.
Supports the Project Control Engineer by establishing key activity milestones and time related performance targets that respond to the success criteria.
Supports the Logistics and Engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions that enable Production to maximize its potential.
Works with the Project Control Engineer, supports the preparation then manages and maintains strategic implementation of the following;
Continuously reviews and improves performance, with the aim to eliminate waste and meet project success criteria and targets.
Implements survey and research needs in order to deliver information as needed by the Construction team.
Identifies and ensures ownership of both time and physical interfaces both Intra and Inter project.
Set ups and maintains project level planning controls.
Provides programme performance information.
Evaluates and analyzes programme performance.
Provides recovery solutions and identifies project
milestones.
Qualification
This is an exciting opportunity for a Planning Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience in project planning with exposure to all phases of project life. (Front end engineering, detailed design, procurement, contracting, fabrication and construction/installation). Experience with planning systems & techniques are essential (Primavera, P3/P5/P6 & MS Project)
