Responsibilities:

Ø  Maintaining the Application servers across Pan India.

Ø  Maintaining the entire Project Infrastructure and inventory throughout Pan India.

Ø  Maintaining wide Area Network with 140 SERVERS and 600 systems.

Ø  Installation of application server.

Ø  Creation of application server for new store.

Ø  Update the rollouts of Application Software and subsequent patches

Ø  User management for windows and application software.

Ø  Responsible for security patches and any emergency fixes recognized as necessary for installation.

Ø  Commissioning of BROADBAND line and VSAT Connectivity. Keep a track of it & maintaining its proper connectivity Issue for its same.

Ø  Monitoring of antivirus server and virus removal tools.

Ø  Knowledge on antivirus client software installations, patch and hot-fix installation.

Ø  Maintaining the Backup servers and backup schedules monitoring.

Ø  Remote Administrationusing VNC, Team Viewer, Show my PC and Net Meeting.

Ø  Assisting in the design and implementation of the network (LAN)

Ø  Knowledge of OSI (TCP / IP) model.

Ø  Having knowledge on routers, VPN, ISDN, and VSAT.

Ø  Knowledge on  Routing Protocols: RIP, IGRP, EIGRP  and OSPF

Ø  Co-ordination with Vendors for Project Implementation and modifications in different places

Ø  Troubleshooting Network Issues.

Ø  Effectively monitored functioning of equipment/ peripherals and make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.

Ø  Consolidate and resolved problems pertaining to Software and Hardware related issues throughout the network with different Team and Vendors.

Ø  Major operational documentation analysis with team in critical situations

Ø  Documented network issues and their causes facilitated immediate resolution in case of reoccurrence throughout Team.

Ø  Coordination with Project Manager and team lead problems

Ø  Managing and training to Team members in different issues.
