Description: JOB DESCRIPTION
- Drafting of design drawing and prepare for the as built drawing for Civil & Electro-Mechanical and RF/MW networks.
- Coordinates with engineering design team to resolve design problems, technical queries and clarification of ongoing site
construction.
- Undertakes all functions to perform the work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. The production of accurate high quality plans, tracings and drawings of buildings, layouts and installations from
sketches, plans or other information using computer aided drawing equipment.
This includes the amendment, annotation and any similar work associated with such plans or drawings.
2. The production of high quality artwork and finished graphics work for charts, notices, posters, forms, etc.
3. The completion and maintenance of computer (CAD) back-up systems and general computer housekeeping duties.
4. The completion and maintenance of records relating to plans work.
5. To occasionally accompany an engineer on an inspection of a large and complex building (major project), in order to
quickly facilitate the production of relevant plans or drawings.
6. To attend user group meetings and other formal or informal training sessions, to assist in the training of other CAD users
and, when required, to assist in the development and use of new technology to produce drawings and graphics.
7. Such other associated duties commensurate with the post, as may be allocated by the relevant manager.
The duties include:-
(a) The reproduction of plans, tracings and drawing
(b) The reproduction, collation and binding of documents
(c) Basic administration duties.
(d) Occasionally providing cover for CAD purposes in other locations.
8. Any other duties as agreed between the post-holder, management and engineering
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, ETC.)
Minimum 3 years of work experience preferably in the Engineering & construction business in gulf region.
- Fluency in English.
- Computer knowledge.
- Has full knowledge in all software used for AutoCAD and other latest applicable software package.
- Excellent communication with the ability to work in a team.
- Good technical ability and understanding of the design work
- Graduated from good collage.
