A leading international construction company immediately requires suitable candidates for the post of Senior Estimator for its Jeddah operations. All the applicants should be a Master degree holder in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. Work experience of 10 - 15 years in any heavy industrial project is required.
Job Requirements:
> Experience in estimation or construction of heavy industrial plants.
> Knowledge in design, construction, procurement and cost estimation.
> Team player with good co-ordination capacity.
> Familiarity with international standards.
> Computer literacy.
> Transferable Iqama for expatriate candidates.
Job responsibilities:
> Analyze drawings and specifications and any other data in tender documentation issued by client for electro mechanical part.
> Evaluation for equipment and manhours for the execution of the electro mechanical works.
> Prepare RFQ for the electro mechanical materials, approach potential suppliers and get proposals including commercial terms.
> Prepare RFQ for engineering services.
> Prepare and evaluate acceptable technical alternatives for works and materials that could lead to optimization.
> Preparation of cost estimation for electro mechanical project for company bid.
