University Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 12 years extensive experience in Cement Maintenance Operations including 5 years in a leadership role.

Plan, oversee implementation and control company’s maintenance activities to ensure 
that preventive and periodical maintenance schedules are carried on time and to set standards so as to maximize production potential, minimize disruptions to work schedules and Preserve Company’s investment.

The role holder leads the maintenance team and is essential in ensuring continuous and sustainable supply of cement.

With production up to capacity, it is imperative that maintenance is meticulously and vigilantly undertaken whilst having minimum disruption to production schedules.

Working with the maintenance team and ensuring that the work is undertaken to highest quality standards is a central function of the role in addition to developing the people to build expertise and technical knowledge.

The Maintenance Manager needs to keep effective working relationships with other key operational functions but will liaise most closely with Production and Quality Control.

Extensive knowledge of internal processes, standards, policies and procedures. Effective oral and written communication skills and fluency in English.
