Technical Superintendent
Qualifications:
1. Chief Engineer with first class certificate of competency (Motor) on foreign
Going Vessel with minimum 3 years experience on ships.
2. Knowledge of maritime conventions like SOLAS, MARPOL.
3. Knowledge of classification Rules and Regulations.
4. Operations and maintenance of shipboard machinery and equipment.
5. Planning of Lay - up Schedules and Dry Dock programs for the vessels.
6. Initiating Bids from Shipyards and Workshops based on technical specification, assessment and nomination of a successful party to executive the jobs.
7. Purchase of spares and stores for ships from international suppliers.
8. Planning and execution of voyage repairs and as when required.
• Incase applicants will get equal scores, priority will be given to (Higher General Qualification Degree - Earlier Qualification Holder - Elder in Age - Married to singles)
