The strategic development of Sales to multi-national Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and multi-national corporations driving high volume & high value revenue within the business travel sector.
The role will require previous experience in building brand value through multinational customers in order to drive sales outcomes. Identify and develop strategies which will develop a service chain proposition to align common goals and objectives of multi-national travel companies to that of the airline on a 10 year plan basis. This role is key to co-ordinating and developing Etihad Airways market position with Global TMCs strategy.

Qualifications:
 
Educated to university degree level
Based in Abu Dhabi
 
 
 

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years senior management role within the travel industry with multi-national clients in the business travel sector.  
• Proven track record of achievement & management in multi national corporate & TMC sales.
• Proven track record in the development and implementation of sustainable growth sales strategies within the multinational travel industry sector
• Experience of working across multiple international in handling business travel sales is essential.
• an existing industry profile at senior management level with multinational travel management company
• Experience in working with professional/trade organizations related to corporate travel e.g. GBTM, ACTE, ITM
• Previous development of effective management practices for remote and virtual team working

Training

• Negotiation skills training capable of handling B2B Blue Chip level clientele and B2T
• Computer systems literate, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Access
• Familiar with travel industry systems

Knowledge

• Knowledge of bilateral and multinational corporate agreements structures and processes
• International travel industry business practices with European sales management essential especially in the key markets of the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
• Understanding of segmentation in the business travel market and the effective channels for selling
• Expertise in handling multinational travel management company (TMC) agreements
• Comprehension of tracking and reporting mechanisms for corporate and TMC agreements
• Fluent written and oral English language speaker. 2nd European language and Arabic preferable

• Familiar with international competition regulation governing the aviation & travel industry sectors
• Understanding of corporate remittance and airline revenue accounting processes
• Comprehension of corporate governance and legal compliance requirements for multinational contracts
