Job Description DLR/SM/TA: Dealer, Kuwait
Our client, a Middle East commercial bank is seeking a Dealer for their Treasury Department in Bahrain. He will be responsible for managing the daily money desk operations and accounting for investment securities; wholesale liabilities as well as dealing in currencies within the limits allotted by the bank and contribute to achieving the targets.
Responsibilities:
• Generate revenue through the execution of client orders as well as hedging of client positions.
• Perform fundamental analysis in order to evaluate the creditworthiness of each issuer and assess relative value.
• Contact banks and brokers daily to collect interest rates, and invest accordingly to maximize returns on the portfolio.
• Quote foreign currency buying and selling rates to clients and maintain the investment portfolio accounting system.
• Quote deposit and loan rates to corporate customers both local and international corporate customers as per rules to facilitate inter-bank borrowing and lending of deposit and loans.
Requirements:
• University Degree in Economics or Finance; ideally MBA in Finance/ CIA/ACCA/CPA/CA.
• At least 3 years FX, derivatives and money markets trading experience in a bank in the Middle East.
• Skilled in Treasury related transactions, monthly liquidity analysis and preparation of cash flow business reports.
