Job Description:
A Global banking group are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to head their operational risk department in Dubai.
The Operational Risk Manager will be recruited to raise awareness of Basel II across the UAE franchise towards operations risk theory and practice. The ORM will be expected to offer advice and guidance to UAE management on risk related matters .
Responsibilities:
- Raising awareness of staff towards OR through formal and informal means.
- Providing advisory support to all BU’s in the UAE in matters relating to operational risk and controls.
- Liaising with BU heads
- Supporting the Country Risk Officer in the development and application of local policies and procedures relating to ORM and ensuring that the Group’s ORM programmes are applied.
