Job Description:
I. Job Purpose & Scope: The purpose of this job is to develop and implement an assurance framework to ensure compliance with: � Corporate Standards of Business Conduct programme including Business Ethics Policy. � ADNOC Assurance Letter & UAE Labour & Business Laws Furthermore, the incumbent shall promote ethical behavior, devise processes and tools to detect and prevent unethical or illegal behavior. III. Main Duties/Accountabilities: � Develops and directs an assurance program for compliance with corporate Standards of Business Conduct, business ethics, code of conduct and annual declaration, labor law, ADNOC letter of compliance for contractors and sub-contractors. � Communicates the compliance program to all partners in areas of responsibility. Prepares and delivers presentations/training to executives, managers and other partners about the compliance program. � Implements business compliance initiatives and programs to enhance support for stakeholders. Conducts and oversees periodic monitoring/auditing of compliance activities to ensure on-going compliance and to assess for improvement of processes and programs. � Conducts compliance audits and/or spot-checks; ensures timely investigation of matters raised through the program. Maintains confidentiality and recommends corrective action. � Develops a fit for purpose reporting mechanism for assurance that all contractors and sub-contractors are fulfilling their obligations towards their employees in accordance with contractual terms and conditions to ensure compliance for the ADNOC letter.
Profile:
B.Sc. or BA with 10 years experience in business management/ audit related to oil & gas upstream. � Ethics, compliance and or business conduct experience, international program rollout and support experience (5+ years) � Strong managerial skills � Strong interpersonal and communication skills � Strong ability to prepare written communications for internal and external audiences � Valid UAE driving license. � Experience with Contracts/ Labour issues (preferred)
Education: Basic - Bachelor of Business Administration ( Management ) , Bachelor of Technology/Engineering
