Job Description

Our client proposes a challenging position to reorganize the Accounting department according to SOX requirements, to prepare & analyse all sort of financial reports & schedules related to the financial position of the Company.

The right candidate must be able to manage legal entities in various countries where the company is located and be willing to travel regularly to those countries.

This position also contributes to the implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. 

You will report directly to the Finance Director.


MAIN ACTIVITIES & RESPONSABILITIES:


1/ Complies with MPH’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures in all areas impacting the business, including, HSE, operational, commercial, financial, administrative and HR practices. Demonstrates zero tolerance to divergence. Highlights and requests correction, where necessary.


2/ Implements SOX rules and regulations and put in place strong processes and policies for Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Treasury, General Ledger (Closing, Balance Sheet reconciliation, etc.),


3/ Manages the accounting team locally in Dubai and on remote mode (accountants in the other entities), develops a strong team with strong skills to optimize efficiency,


4/ Gives best support and service to the internal customers (Payroll team, financial controller, General Manager, contract and recruitment team), proposing the proper technical solution,


5/ Maintains proper follow-up of all kind of provisions linked to the Consultants, the clients, and to the suppliers, manages Balance Sheet risks, loans and deposits,


6/ Ensures monthly and yearly closings in a timely manner, and all reconciliation are properly done (bank, balance sheet, inter company), validates consolidated financials at Group level,

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE


EDUCATION :

Master degree in Accounting, in Finance.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum 5 years working experience in an international Company that is SOX compliant,

A management experience of A/P, A/R and cash management, G/L management is required,

Be process oriented (SOX),


KEY SKILLS/LANGUAGE :

Fluent English, French is considerate as an advantage

Skills in financials transactions (partnerships, company’s set-up) are a plus

Strong negotiating skills (banks, client facing tendering, suppliers)

Excellent personal presentation
