Job description
• To provide leadership and coordinate the annual budget planning cycles ensuring that the budget process includes timely consultation with relevant departments is completed. Prepare all summary submissions and related material for the annual budget review.
• To manage the accounting and business systems and various related practices. Prepare regular financial/budget statements and variance reports, and related material. Provide detailed information on financial operations. Monitor expenditures and controls accounts receivable and accounts payable for the proper financial management of ROTA.
• To ensure that ROTA is complying with QF’s generally accepted accounting principles and best practices related to business and financial management. Lead relevant policy and business practice development to ensure that the day-to-day accounting practices, cash procedures, investment policies, and expenditures and revenues, are controlled and maintained within approved limits.
Qualifications
Supports ROTA to conduct appropriate reviews of current contractors and suppliers to ensure best value for money. Establish new supplier, vendor relationships, and troubleshoots when purchasing problems occur.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with funders, community partners, senior levels officials and acts as liaison with QF Finance, Audit on related matters of ROTA.
