Job Description :
Evaluate investment opportunities from a technical and process perspective. In addition, review licensing agreement commerciality and legality. Evaluate investment opportunities from identification stage though to approval (within Ma’aden) or until contract signing (external to Ma’aden) by analyzing and translating business information i.e. market, financial, technical and risk into business opportunity. Provide recommendations as a result of the information received.. Also, the successful candidate is responsible for the assessment of Ma’aden opportunity & investment businesses.
Must have experience in:
• Lenience Technical Agreement
• Technology Technical Assessment
• Feasibility study (from a technical point)
• Research and Technology
• Technology licensing settlement commercially and legality.
Process description, technology comparison, operating & maintenance behavior.
Experience in Efficiency vs. weak point, Ecological evaluation, Energy consumption.
Experience in Sensitivity analysis, cost analysis e.g. (Capex, Opex and Consumption cost), Transforming qualitative technology data into economical values.
Assess, evaluate and drive the approval of business opportunities before handing over to SBUs (i.e. Market, Economic, Technology, Risk.). Evaluate business opportunities offered by SBUs, .
Schedules milestone, and duration for of pre-feasibility with appropriate management controls.. Identifies the project sponsor and steering team responsible for the outcome of the project.
Analyze the company financial statement, industrial regularity, and economic information.
Analyze business, industrial and financial information to forecast business, industrial, and economic conditions to support business & industrial decisions.
Create a short term and long term business plan. Prepare strategic initiatives
Evaluate the various financial models prepared by the consultants for their purpose and suitability to the business case in hand and use as a tool to quantify improve the projects economics.
Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile Master in Business Administration with BS in industrial engineering, geological engineering or chemical engineering.
Minimum 10+ years working experience
Must have strong verbal and writing communication skills
Projects, business, economic, financial, and risk analysis
Excellent analytical skills
Influent in English reading/writing
Good negotiation skills
Leadership, Achievement Drive, Developing others, Teamwork & Collaboration and Analytical thinking.
Education Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Chemical , Production/Industrial ) , PG - MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt
