Join this professional International Freight Forwarding team in a key position as Sales Person, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Your background is already within the Import/Export – Sea/Air Freight Forwarding sector as we seek an experienced and ambitious sales person who wants to develop their career in the Freight Forwarding industry.
Knowledge and Skills required for these vacancies:
Functional knowledge in Air / Sea Freight plus good knowledge of end to end Logistics
Strong sales experience with demonstrable ability and success in the Abu Dhabi market
A team working spirit with clear drive to succeed
Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, action, follow up, report)
Educational background & work experience required:
Business administration / commercial background
Freight Industry experience - minimum 3 years
Freight Sales experience - minimum 2 years – must be able to demonstrate past success
Far East trade lane sales experience is preferred
Key responsibilities include:
Pro-actively identify & book significant Freight volumes through existing and new clients in the Abu Dhabi market
Networking, cold calling, identifying key target areas in the market
Negotiating rates with customers, managing quotes and closing deals effectively
Reporting on competitor activity and market trends
Education: Bachelor's Degree
