A leading constuction company in Doha,Qatar is looking for an experienced and qualified Project Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should be a Degree holder in Civil Engineering.�
> Civil or commercial construction management experience of at least 20 years is needed.
> Experience as Site Construction Manager, specializing in high rise office, hotel, resort, shopping, Industrial and similar complexes and heavy civil construction is needed.�
> Possessing supplementary training in Project costing and scheduling,Contract Management and Procurement,Safety Management,etc will be an advantage.
> Need proven project management skills.
> Thorough knowledge of project costing, scheduling, bid preparation, tendering. procurement, financial management, quality control, are needed.
> Need excellent communication and leadership skills.
> Should be able to work effectively with multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Reporting to Projects Director.
> Coordinate the resolution of engineering design, procurement, scheduling, issues with site Supervisors and Engineers.
> Provide day-to-day direction Construction,Tender,QS Department,EMP,Machinery and Transportation departments.
> Provide overall direction to project teams in technical, commercial, legal and operational matters and general direction to various support departments.
> Define and implement Project Safety Plans, to anticipate and respond to design and schedule changes.
> Work with project teams to develop and manage budgets, schedules and deliverables for each project phase and functional area.
> Supervise several Project and QA / QC Engineers, overseeing project design, scheduling, Q5JOC and construction activities.
> Monitor all project agreements to unsure compliance with approved coot and quality standards. schedules and safety.
> Managing the preparation of equipment and vendor specifications and the preparation of vendor contracts.
> Provide monthly project and budget updates to the Projects Director.
> Provide project updates to relevant external agencies - financial institutions, regulatory bodies, etc.
