A leading telecommunications firm in Bahrain urgently requires an IT Helpdesk and Support Executive to join its dynamic team.
Requirements:
> Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Electrical engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
> Minimum 3 to 5 years of IT experience with a focus on desktop/helpdesk support in the telecommunications industry is needed.
> Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the GCC.
Responsibilities:
> Maintain a robust IT helpdesk and support service for customers.
> Offer electronic troubleshooting advice.
> Make sure that all security infrastructure is in place and functional.
> Laise with vendors providing first line support for desktop IT and enterprise network.
> Conduct routine maintenance processes and handle spontaneous malfunctions as required.
> Research best industry practices in desktop and helpdesk operations, systems and technology.
> Ensure that applications and network are accessible to all users and are operational at all times.
