A reputed firm invited applications for the post of Area Sales Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide marketing intelligence input from a field sales perspective for product development to design and launch products appealing to the SME Banking Sector.
Develop a sales strategy for designated territory. Recruit, lead, manage & motivate a sales team to achieve revenue against set targets for SME retail banking.
Manage a team of RMs/ROs/CR Analysts. Allocate territory amongst RMs and ROs as per time & territory management principles and account development/importance criteria.
Visit clients as needed to sustain business relationships. Make joint calls with RMs and ROs and perform on the job coaching to assess client needs, propose the Bank’s products and establish and develop accounts.
Leverage the promotions of Bank’s other products to build sales in the SME Sector, receive/contribute leads and foster a culture of cross selling across the Bank.
Skills:
Knowledge of Retail Banking products & services.
Knowledge of Operational Policies & Procedures
Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations & risks
Knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations issued by the UAE Central Bank and other regulatory authorities.
Very good knowledge of direct selling and cross selling. Understanding of the Selling process.
• Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques. Knowledge of time and territory management.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
Education:
Graduate in any discipline. MBA Degree in Marketing and/or Finance & Banking preferred.
